Oklahoma State topples No. 8 Kansas, fans storm court image

Shortly after St. Bonaventure pulled off a buzzer-beating upset over No. 18 VCU that led to a court storm, Oklahoma State had its own reasons to celebrate.

Led by LeBryan Nash's game-high 18 points, the Cowboys pulled off an upset of their own on their home floor, beating No. 8 Kansas, 67-62.

The Jayhawks (19-4, 8-2 Big 12) took control of the game early, leading 41-30 heading into halftime. From there, the Cowboys (16-7, 6-5 Big 12) stormed back, closing the gap quickly to start the second half.

"We just became more aggressive, our whole mentality," Oklahoma State coach Travis Ford said, according to The Associated Press. "I think it was more about us than them. We did make them turn it over a bit more, we did speed them up a little bit, but it got us being aggressive, it got us in attack mode."

The Cowboys' first meeting with Kansas this season was the fourth of five straight meetings against ranked teams for Oklahoma State. They'll have one more Monday when they visit No. 19 Baylor, the team they beat to start the five-game stretch.

Of course, any win over a top-ten team is worth a court storming. Especially if it's a victory over in-conference giant Kansas.
