Notre Dame and Kent State both come into the NCAA Tournament after capturing conference tournament championships.

The Fighting Irish won the ACC Tournament title, defeating Louisville, Virginia Tech and NC State during their tournament run. Kent State won the MAC championship earlier this month, running through Northern Illinois, Ball State and Buffalo.

Hannah Hidalgo is the Fighting Irish's freshman superstar who won the ACC Defensive Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year awards and landed on the All-ACC First Team. Sonia Citron and Maddy Westbeld also represented Notre Dame on the All-ACC Second Team.

Kent State's Katie Shumate was named to the All-MAC First Team and All-Defensive Team. Jenna Batsch earned a spot on the All-MAC Third Team, and Janae Tyler was named to the MAC All-Freshman team.
