The 2024 National Invitation Tournament has had its fair share of madness so far, and now it's down to six teams. Indiana State and Georgia made it through to the semifinals with wins Tuesday night, and the last two semifinalists will be determined Wednesday.
No. 1 seed Seton Hall will host UNLV in the first game. The Pirates survived an overtime scare from Saint Joseph's in their opener but had an easier time with defending NIT champ North Texas in the second round. The Runnin' Rebels, meanwhile, continue to crisscross the country after winning at Princeton in the first round, then beating Boston College at home in Las Vegas in the second.
The late game features VCU making the long trip to Utah after knocking off Villanova and South Florida to get this far. The Utes have taken down UC Irvine and Iowa to reach the quarterfinals.
