This week's predictions (all times Eastern):

NCAA Tournament second round, Duke-Yale (appx. 2:30 p.m. Saturday, CBS). Less than 48 hours after their first ever NCAA Tournament win, Yale takes on defending champion Duke in a David v. Goliath matchup Saturday. Ratings will be hard pressed to match last year’s 6.1 for then-undefeated Kentucky against Cincinnati, but expect a solid performance nonetheless. Prediction: 5.4.

NCAA Tournament second round, Kentucky-Indiana (5:15 p.m. Saturday, CBS). In arguably the featured game of the weekend, two traditional college basketball powers meet in a game many expected later in the tournament. Look for a solid increase over last year’s 5.4 for Arizona-Ohio State. Prediction: 6.5.

NCAA Tournament second round, Oklahoma-VCU (5:15 p.m. Sunday, CBS). The cushiest timeslot of the weekend goes to Oklahoma and VCU. While Buddy Hield has been one of the biggest stars this season, it is hard to imagine Sunday’s matchup matching last year’s 6.3 for Wichita State-Kansas. Prediction: 5.8.

NBA regular season, Warriors-Spurs (8:30 p.m. Saturday, ABC). Statistically the greatest regular season matchup in NBA history, Warriors-Spurs is unlikely to make much of a dent in Saturday’s NCAA Tournament ratings. With that said, it should at least put a more respectable number than Thunder-Spurs the week before (1.7) or Rockets-Bulls two weeks earlier (1.2). Prediction: 2.2.

PGA Tour Arnold Palmer Invitational, final round (2:30 p.m. Sunday, NBC). PGA Tour ratings have been up-and-down on broadcast this year. Coming off a slight dip at Tampa Bay last weekend, look for the numbers to bounce back for this week’s Bay Hill Invitational. Last year’s final round set the bar low with a 1.8 rating. Prediction: 2.0.

NASCAR Sprint Cup from Fontana (3:30 p.m. Sunday, FOX). NASCAR ratings continue to drop, but not as steeply the past two weeks. After Las Vegas fell by 4 percent, last week’s Phoenix race dropped just 2 percent from last year. NASCAR is hoping for more of the same for this week’s race from Fontana, or better yet — an actual increase. Last year’s race had a 4.3 rating. Prediction: 4.1.

Premier League, Manchester Derby (12 p.m. Sunday, NBC). For the first time, the Premier League’s Manchester Derby airs on a broadcast network. While a ratings record is likely off the table due to NCAA Tournament competition, expect (relatively) strong numbers. Prediction: 0.8.
