Before the NCAA Tournament selection committee hands out 36 at-large bids on Selection Sunday, 31 conferences will hand out automatic bids via conference tournaments. The Ivy League awards its automatic bid to its regular-season champion.
The conference tournaments make up the two weeks leading into Selection Sunday and is where the first forms of March Madness takes place.
