The Boilermakers' (13-6, 6-2) recent success hasn't had the same longevity but has still been promising after an underwhelming nonconference slte. Guard Carsen Edwards, who may be Winston's biggest competition for conference player of the year thus far, also leads his team in points (24.7) and assists (3.5) per game.
The Spartans won the first matchup between the teams this season, breezing to a 77-59 victory at home.
