EAST LANSING, Mich. — Michigan State has dismissed Kenny Kaminski from its basketball program.
Spartans coach Tom Izzo announced the move Monday, saying Kaminski could not live up to obligations despite multiple opportunities. Izzo suspended Kaminski twice last season for a total of four games and two exhibitions.
Kaminski has not decided where he will transfer, according to a message he posted on his Twitter account.
I am no longer going to play at Michigan State, I will be transferring to another school but have not decided where yet

He made a Big Ten-best .494 percent of 3-point attempts last year as a redshirt freshman. The 6-foot-8, 225-pound forward averaged 4.9 points, 1.5 rebounds and 12.2 minutes in 31 games.
Kaminski, who is from Medina, Ohio, had a chance to earn a lot more playing time next season in place of Adreian Payne, who was drafted in the first round by the Atlanta Hawks.
