Lauren Hill, who passed away Friday morning at the age of 19 after a battle with diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma, was remembered and celebrated by a crowd of hundreds of friends, family and fans at Xavier University's Cintas Center on Monday.

It was only fitting that Hill was memorialized in the basketball arena where she became a household name last November.

Local 12 captured the remarks of speakers at Hill's memorial service, which you can watch below.

Hill's greatest legacy won't be the baskets she scored against Hiram College, but the more than $1.5 million she raised to fight DIPG. That fight continues and you can still donate at TheCureStartsNow.org.
