Two teams on opposite ends of the SEC face off on Saturday when the Kentucky Wildcats meet the Texas A&M Aggies. Kentucky sits first in the conference with a 12-2 overall record an undefeated in SEC play, while Texas A&M is 10th in the conference at 0-2 and 9-6 overall.

The Wildcats are on a six-game winning streak after taking down Missouri at home Tuesday night following a close two-point win over Florida this past Saturday. Kentucky senior guard Antonio Reeves has led the Wildcats recently after he averaged 22.5 points per game over the team's past four outings and 18.6 points per game on the year, while freshman guard Rob Dillingham chipped in 23 points against the Tigers.

The Aggies don't score much, but junior guard Wade Taylor Jr. has proven to be Texas A&M's best scorer. He leads the team with 17.3 points per game but shoots just 36.4 percent from the field. Senior forward Henry Coleman IV, meanwhile, averages 12.5 points per game but is shooting 61.3 percent from the field this year.

Kentucky has the offensive firepower advantage with the second best scoring output in the nation at 90.7 points per game. The Wildcats are 7-0 when they reach that threshold and have only scored fewer than 85 points four times this season, including both of their losses.

Texas A&M, who has lost its past two games by double-digits, hasn't been so lucky on offense. The Aggies average 73.2 points per game and are 2-4 when they fail to eclipse that number. The defense isn't much better and allows 66.7 points per game.

Looking a bit further into the analytics widens the gap between the two sides a bit more. Kentucky ranks 16th in the overall KenPom efficiency rankings, while Texas A&M drops to 34. The Wildcats offensive efficiency ranks ninth, the defensive efficiency ranks 48th, and their tempo ranks 14th. The Aggies rank 26 in offense, 66th on defense and 320th in tempo.
