The eighth-ranked Kentucky men's basketball team will look to win its third straight game when the Wildcats visit South Carolina for an SEC matchup on Tuesday, Jan. 23.

Kentucky got a boost when Zvonimir Ivisic, a 7-2 freshman from Croatia, was ruled eligible to play by the NCAA before Saturday’s game against Georgia.

Ivisic, nicknamed "Big Z," entered the game with 16 minutes to play in the first half and finished with 13 points, five rebounds and two assists in the 105-96 victory.  He has boosted the Wildcats' aspirations for a national championship.

Tre Mitchell scored 23 points, going 8-for-10 from the floor and 6-of-7 from the free-throw line. Antonio Reeves added 21 for Kentucky, which shot 62 percent from the field. D.J. Wagner had 18 points and a season-high 10 assists.

Kentucky (14-3 overall, 4-1 SEC) is the nation's top-scoring team, averaging 91.6 points per game. The Wildcats trail Auburn (5-0) in the SEC standings.

South Carolina beat Arkansas 77-64 victory on Saturday, snapping a three-game losing streak against the Razorbacks.

Graduate forward B.J. Mack led all scorers with 18 points and nine rebounds, going 6-of-10 from the floor. Mack has scored in double-figures in three consecutive games and added three assists in 24 minutes.

Sophomore guard Zachary Davis made his first start of the season in place of the injured Myles Stute and scored 12 points with four rebounds. It marks Davis’ second game this season in double-figures and the third of his career.

The Gamecocks are 5-0 this season when shooting 50 percent or better from the floor as a team. The team shot 50 percent or better just once last season.
