It will be a battle of blue blood programs when Kentucky and Kansas collide at the Champions Classic on Tuesday night.
The Wildcats have easily handled their first two games of the season, blowing out New Mexico State and Texas A&M Commerce. The Jayhawks have jumped out to a similar start, smacking North Carolina Central and Manhattan.

Now, the 2023-24 season will begin in earnest, as each team will face its first true challenge. Bill Self and the top-ranked Jayhawks will enter the contest as the favorite, but John Calipari and the No. 16 Wildcats have the talent to test their opponent — and perhaps pull off the upset.
"It'll be a totally different animal than what we've experienced so far," Self said. "But we'll be very excited about it. ... It should be a lot of fun."
