GAINESVILLE, Fla. — No. 1 Florida will have freshman backup point guard Kasey Hill back Saturday against LSU.
Hill missed the last three games with a groin injury, but coach Billy Donovan says he has been cleared to practice and play.
Donovan says Hill "looked pretty good" in practice Thursday and adds "no limping or anything that I can notice where he looks hampered or bothered."
Hill is averaging 5.6 points and 3.1 assists in 23-plus minutes a game this season. He is shooting just 37.6 percent from the field and 15.2 percent from 3-point range, but his biggest value come in providing starting point guard Scottie Wilbekin some rest in games.
The Gators (26-2) have won 20 in a row and already have clinched the Southeastern Conference regular-season title.
