The Iowa Hawkeyes, led by superstar guard Caitlin Clark, will take on the Nebraska Cornhuskers in a Big Ten clash on Saturday afternoon.

Iowa sits atop the Big Ten standings by overall record (18-2), but it is tied with Indiana and Ohio State with a 7-1 conference record. The Hawkeyes are also coming off their second loss of the season after falling to the Buckeyes in overtime on Sunday.

Nebraska (13-6), meanwhile, sits just two games back of Iowa with a 5-3 conference record. The Cornhuskers have been hit-or-miss so far in 2024 after losing three of their past five games, including a nine-point defeat on the road against Penn State on Sunday.

Per usual, this should be the Clark show. She has led the Hawkeyes in scoring in every game this season, and she put up 45 points in their loss to the Buckeyes. She is averaging a nation-leading 31.7 points per game, and she leads Iowa in assists (7.7), rebounds (7.0) and steals (1.7).

Nebraska guard Jaz Shelley, who is averaging 12.1 points, 5.3 assists, 4.2 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game, will likely be tasked with defending Clark. The Cornhuskers will also be relying heavily on center Alexis Markowski, who leads the team with 16.8 points and 10.5 rebounds per game.
