The Indiana State Sycamores and Seton Hall Pirates will meet in the 2024 National Invitation Tournament championship game after impressive runs through the bracket.

Seton Hall squeaked past Saint Joseph's in the first round, then rolled through North Texas, UNLV and Georgia. Indiana State faced its toughest test against Cincinnati in the quarterfinals, overcoming a halftime deficit and securing an 85-81 win. The Sycamores also defeated SMU, Minnesota and Utah.

This is Indiana State's first-ever appearance in the NIT championship game. Seton Hall previously reached this stage of the tournament back in 1953, capturing the title with a win over St. John's.
