BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Indiana will travel twice to Madison Square Garden in December, taking on national powerhouses Louisville and Georgetown this season.
The non-conference schedule, released Friday, eight days after the Big Ten schedule was announced, also includes home dates against Pittsburgh and SMU.
Indiana will open the season Nov. 14 against Mississippi Valley State. In all, the Hoosiers will play 10 of their 13 non-conference games at Assembly Hall. They will face Louisville at Madison Square Garden on Dec. 9 in the Jimmy V Classic, and will return to Madison Square Garden on Dec. 27 against Georgetown. They also will play in-state rival Butler in Indianapolis on Dec. 20.
The Hoosiers also will face the University of Indianapolis in an exhibition game Nov. 10.
