Rob Phinisee has a flair for the dramatic.
The Indiana (8-2) freshman guard sunk a 3-pointer from NBA range to beat the buzzer and lift the No. 25 Hoosiers past in-state foe Butler (7-3) in the Crossroads Classic on Saturday.

Possessing the ball in a tie game with 18 seconds, Devonte Green delivered the pass to Phinisee, who extended over the arms of two Butler defenders to swish home the game winner. His buzzer-beater was emblematic of the effort throughout the game by Indiana, who fought back from multiple nine-point deficits in the second half.
Juwan Morgan led the way for the Hoosiers with 35 points, going 12 of 14 on the night, including an 8 for 8 from inside the arc. Phinisee had nine points, all on 3s.
Indiana has now won its last four games, all by three points or fewer, since its 90-69 loss to Duke.
