No. 23 Florida Atlantic has put together an impressive season and the Owls will look to keep rolling against American Athletic Conference foe Wichita State on Thursday, Jan. 18.

Florida Atlantic went unbeaten over the past week, with an 85-84 victory over Tulane and 86-73 win over UAB.

Junior guard Johnell Davis finished with 14 points, six rebounds and eight assists against Tulane. Davis then scored 30 points against the Blazers.

In the two games, Davis went 7-for-10 from beyond the arc. Davis has three career games with 30 or more points. Two of his three 30-point performances have come against UAB

Junior center Vlad Goldin, the nation's leader in field goal percentage at 71.9%, averaged 18.5 points per game over the week on 16-for-22 shooting.

Wichita State has lost five games in a row — its longest skid since losing six consecutive games from Dec. 28, 2008 to Jan. 14, 2009.

The Shockers were routed by No. 13 Memphis 112-86 on Sunday. Wichita State hadn't allowed 100 points since 1994 when Drake scored 109. The 112 points are the fifth-most a Wichita State team has allowed in school history.

Shockers junior guard Colby Rogers scored 14 of his 20 points after halftime, marking his fifth 20-point outing of the season.

Harlond Beverly finished with 17 points on 8-of-11 shooting, with six assists. Dalen Ridgnal scored 13 of his 15 points in the first half – 12 of the 15 coming from behind the 3-point line.
