Yes, Duke technically beat Virginia on Saturday. But the way it celebrated was a bit over the top.
First, the win is marred by controversy. Should Grayson Allen's game-winner have counted? Probably not. It seems like a clear travel. A foul could've (should've) been called instead and who knows how that would have played out.
Either way, Duke rejoiced in what could be considered their first big win of the season (does Louisville even count since its out of the postseason?) by putting together a 2-minute montage of Allen's travel and the locker room celebrations.

As if praising a shot that probably shouldn't have counted wasn't embarrassing enough, there's another reason why Duke should probably cool its jets.
They aren't very good this year. The Blue Devils fell out of the AP poll for the first time in eight seasons. They're looking for something, anything to celebrate. But a video hyping up a win over a regular season conference game? Come on, Duke, you're better than that. It's making me sad.
The Blue Devil faithful are among the most prideful bunch in college hoops. That's not meant as a back-handed compliment, either. I'll concede that Virginia was a top-ten ranked foe and it was a pretty big win, but there have been times where they've celebrated less after a win over hated rival UNC.
This is how teams react when they beat Duke. Not the other way around. Coach K needs to remind his guys... Or maybe he thought the video was amazing, too.
To be fair, Duke puts together a "mini movie" for most of its games, but this one just has a different feel.
