Big men have been holding it down throughout the 2024 NCAA Tournament. UConn's Donovan Clingan has certainly helped the narrative.

Clingan has stepped into a bigger role after coming off the bench as a freshman during UConn's run to the national title in 2023. As a sophomore, Clingan is averaging 12.6 points, 7.4 rebounds and 2.4 blocks per game.

Clingan's dominance has fueled UConn's run in 2024. The 20-year-old has used his intimidating frame to average 13.7 points, 10.0 rebounds and 3.0 blocks through his first three tournament games.

Clingan is listed at 7-2 on UConn's official roster.

Clingan is believed to have measured at 7-3 without shoes during the summer of 2023, according to a CT Insider profile, which added that Clingan preferred that his height was listed at 7-2.

Clingan's wingspan is 7-7. 

For perspective, Clingan's 7-7 wingspan is five inches shy of Spurs rookie Victor Wembanyama. With his length and defensive instincts, Clingan's 2.4. blocks per game rank 10th in the NCAA.

Donovan Clingan shoe size

Clingan wears a size 18 shoe, according to a 2020 interview with The Athletic.

It is worth noting that Clingan has grown two inches in height since that interview and could have grown into a larger size, something he joked about in the interview.

Clingan plays in a UConn Player Exclusive (PE) version of Nike's KD 16, the 16th signature shoe of Kevin Durant's line.
