There was quite a bit of drama before Foster's game-winner, too. Creighton senior Cole Huff missed the front-end of a one-and-one with the Bluejays up by three with 30 seconds remaining. Xavier junior Trevon Bluiett made Creighton pay with a step-back 3-pointer with 16 seconds left to tie the game at 72-72 before Foster's game-winner.
Foster led Creighton with 21 points. The Blue Jays will play No. 1 seed Villanova in the Big East Tournament title game at 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
