Chet Holmgren and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander AT&T commercial: Inside the March Madness ad featuring Thunder duo image

We all know that pros want championships. We didn't know that AT&T is what a pro needs.

In a nod to Christina Aguilera's iconic song, "What a Girl Wants," AT&T features the Oklahoma City Thunder's Chet Holmgren and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander in a short 30-second March Madness ad.

It's a continued trend that we've seen through the years as part of the company's "Connect to Madness" campaign. This is just one of many AT&T spots that tap into the NBA's recognizable faces with other commercials featuring Carmelo Anthony, Draymond Green, Jalen Brunson and more throughout the tournament.

With the Thunder stacking wins on the court all season long, it only makes sense for them to find some off the court as well. Gilgeous-Alexander also starred in an ad for the company last year as part of a Kentucky-centric commercial with Jacob Toppin, who is now a member of the Knicks.

The Sporting News has you covered on all things AT&T advertising during the season of March Madness.

The ad is more simplistic than some we've seen from AT&T in the past, only featuring Gilgeous-Alexander and Holmgren. The duo is leaving what might be a hotel to board what we assume is the Thunder's team bus.

From there, we see them break out into a parody of Aguilera's song, although with a little less passion than we'd see on the hardwood. Gilgeous-Alexander, however, might have a future in judging singing competitions after pointing out how flat they sounded before the ad comes to a close.

Here's their twist on Aguilera's classic:

They know what a pro wants.

What a pro needs.

Whatever makes me happy.

Sets you free?

And I'm thanking you for knowing exactly.

Thankfully for them, singing isn't a crucial part of the NBA game. But outside of playing the Lakers or Clippers, don't expect to see these stars in Hollywood anytime soon.
