There was no shortage of stars in NCAA women's basketball this year.
Iowa's Caitlin Clark received a majority of the spotlight, breaking the all-time NCAA scoring record earlier in the year as she cemented herself as one of college basketball's greatest players of all time.
LSU featrued a duo of elite talents in forward Angel Reese and guard Hailey Van Lith. So did UConn, which had guard Paige Bueckers and forward Aaliyah Edwards. You also can't forget South Carolina center Kamilla Cardoso.
Don't forget about Stanford's Cameron Brink. The standout forward for the Cardinal is a two-time Pac-12 Player of the Year, a three-time Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year and is at the helm of a Stanford squad looking to win its first national championship since Brink & Co. won in 2021.
Under head coach Tara VanDerveer, Brink improved her game under one of the best college basketball coaches around. It helps that she also has been receiving tips all her life from arguably the greatest shooter in NBA history: Stephen Curry.
What is the connection between Brink and the Warriors star? The Sporting News explains.

Cameron Brink and Stephen Curry relationship, explained
It's not often that an up-and-coming basketball player can receive tutelage from one of the NBA's greats, but that is the case with Brink due to her connection to Curry.
Brink is Curry's godsister. Dell and Sonya Curry, the parents of the Golden State point guard, are Brink's godparents. As a result, Curry has been a figure in Brink's life since she was a child.

Dell and Brink's father, Greg, both played at Virginia Tech. In addition, Sonya and Brink's mom, Michelle, were roommates at the school.
The Warriors star attended a number of Brink's basketball games growing up, and he played a role in helping her development once she reached the high school level.
"She was trying to develop her jumper and I spent a little bit of time with her, gave her some pointers," Curry said. "My dad did as well. But just in terms of your development, you put the work and the time in, every year, you're going to get better. She's taken advantage of that.
"To see her in college, I know she's gonna keep getting better, honestly. I don't really have to tell her much now. She's kind of off and running, so it's been awesome to watch."
