Caitlin Clark's rise to athletic stardom isn't stopping anytime soon.
The Iowa women's basketball phenom recently made NCAA history, breaking the women's all-time scoring record that was previously held by WNBA star Kelsey Plum. Clark now sits atop the list on the women's side, and is chasing after Pete Maravich's career record for all NCAA basketball.
That's not the only history she is making, though. In the same week that she secured her spot as the women's all-time scoring leader, Clark also became Fanatics' top-selling college athlete in the NIL era, which goes back to 2022.
The apparel company sold more Clark-branded merchandise in the 24 hours following her history-making game against Michigan than any other individual college athlete across all sports. The record was previously held by Colorado football's Shedeur Sanders, the son of Deion Sanders.

The most notable piece of Clark merchandise was Nike's line of clothing that had the phrase, "You break it, you own it." The shirt, consisting of Iowa's black and gold colors, has the slogan and a Nike swoosh across the front, with Clark's No. 22, her name and the Hawkeye logo on the backside.
You break it, you own it.

Clark's NIL sales are only going to increase as the 2023-24 basketball season wraps up, with March Madness just around the corner.
Caitlin Clark Nike NIL deal
Clark's has an extensive history with Nike that goes back to way before the scoring record was in sight. The Iowa star inked a deal with the brand in October 2022, ahead of her junior season.
She was a part of Nike's first NIL basketball ambassador roster that included players such as Haley Jones, DJ Wagner, Bronny James and JuJu Watkins.
“I grew up watching Nike athletes across all sports play their game. They have inspired me to work hard and make a difference. I’m humbled to be part of this first Nike basketball class and passionate about inspiring the next," Clark said.

The endorsement deal allows Nike to sell shirts and jerseys with Clark's name and number on it, which was made possible with the NCAA's new NIL rules.
Clark's annual NIL valuation is $818,000, per On3's NIL rankings.
