Two scoring records down, one more to go for Caitlin Clark.

The Iowa star entered Wednesday's game against Minnesota coming off a pair of 24-point games, well below her otherworldly average of 32.1 on the season. But she bounced back in a major way with a 33-point triple-double to break Lynette Woodard's unofficial Division I women's college basketball scoring record.

Clark looked like she had chance to break Pete Maravich's NCAA scoring record out of the gate in the 108-60 win in Minneapolis. That would've required 51 points.

The senior phenom erupted for 15 points in the game's first four minutes, setting the friendly road crowd ablaze. While Minnesota's defense regained some composure (and kept Clark from the 50-point mark), Iowa remained relentless.

The Hawkeyes won by 48 points, with Clark making as much of an impact as a distributor as she did as a scorer. The senior finished with 12 assists and 10 rebounds in the win, recording her sixth triple-double of the season.

Clark made additional history, setting a new NCAA women's record for 3-pointers in a season with No. 155. She's on track to break and potentially shatter the overall NCAA single-season record of 162, co-owned by Stephen Curry.

The win marked Iowa's 10th 100-point game of the season, but the best sign for the Hawkeyes might have been the defense. Iowa allowed just 60 points, its fewest since mid-January. If Clark and the Hawkeyes want to make a championship run this spring, they'll need more of that type of defensive effort.

For Clark, Sunday's regular-season finale against No. 2 Ohio State will almost certainly be another history-maker. She's just 18 points from breaking Maravich's career record of 3,667, and she hasn't scored under 20 points in any game this season.

The Sporting News tracked Caitlin Clark's live stats from Iowa's game against Minnesota on Wednesday. Check out all of the key moments you might have missed from the Hawkeyes' win.

10:14 p.m. — Clark has a double-double with 28 points and 11 assists as Iowa jumps out to a 37-point lead. She's one rebound away from a triple-double and five points from breaking Woodard's record.

10:07 p.m. — Iowa pushes its lead to 34 on another bucket by Gabbie Marshall. Marshall is up to 16 points on the night on 6-of-9 shooting.

10:05 p.m. — Clark is now six points away from tying Lyn\nette Woodard's mark and 24 away from tying Maravich's record. A 50-point game doesn't seem to be in the cards tonight, but Woodard's record is in sight.

10:02 p.m. — There's a three and a piece of history for Caitlin Clark. She now holds the NCAA single-season record for threes with 155 on the year. Clark is up to 26 points and is closing in on a triple-double.

9:59 p.m. — Clark's scoring pace has slowed, but she's been quite the distributor and starts the second half with an assist on a basket by Hannah Stuelke. Iowa leads by 32.

End of first half: Iowa 53, Minnesota 26

9:45 p.m. — Clark has a quieter finish to the first half, but she's on pace for a 42-point triple-double as Iowa leads 53-26 at the break.

9:39 p.m. — Minnesota is on the board in the second quarter! It's still a 28-point deficit for the Golden Gophers.

9:36 p.m. — Clark misses her second consecutive 3-pointer, and both offenses have slowed considerably here in the second quarter. Minnesota is through the first half of the quarter without a point, trailing by 25, and Clark is up to four turnovers after an offensive foul.

9:31 p.m. — Clark has her first steal of the night, though she misses a 3-point try on the other end after a timeout. Minnesota still doesn't have a point in the second quarter, more than three minutes in.

9:27 p.m. — Minnesota heads to timeout down by 23 and without a point in the second quarter. The Golden Gophers have struggled of late, but they haven't been bludgeoned by an opposing offense like this.

9:26 p.m. — There's Clark's SIXTH 3-pointer of the night, bringing her to 21 points through just over a quarter. She's on 50-point watch tonight.

9:25 p.m. — Clark opens the second quarter with a three to push the Hawkeyes' lead to 17. She's now outscoring Minnesota herself, 18-16.

End of first quarter: Iowa 30, Minnesota 16

9:22 p.m. — Clark finishes the first quarter with 15 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists as she puts herself on triple-double watch again. She's 18 points from breaking Lynette Woodard's record and 36 points from breaking Maravich's mark.

9:15 p.m. — Iowa has opened up a 28-8 lead, though the Hawkeyes are starting to get contributions from others including back-to-back threes from Kylie Feuerbach.

9:11 p.m. — ANOTHER three for Clark, who is up to 15 points in less than four minutes and has made all four attempts from beyond the arc.

9:08 p.m. — Caitlin Clark is ON FIRE. Back-to-back threes for the Iowa star, who now has 12 points and has yet to miss a shot. Iowa leads, 12-2.

9:06 p.m. — Clark drives to the hoop, scores, and draws the foul call. She has all six points in this game, about as impressive of a start as she could've hoped for.

9:05 p.m. — One shot, one 3-pointer for Clark! She's on the board with her first bucket of the night and Iowa's first bucket as well.

8:59 p.m. — We're minutes away from tip-off as Caitlin Clark and Iowa try to put this one comfortably in the win column against a struggling Minnesota team.

8:48 p.m. — Minnesota comes into tonight just 1-8 in its last nine games, though offense, not defense, has been the Golden Gophers' biggest issue. They've been held under 60 points in three of their last five contests.

8:35 p.m. — Clark has more than a few fans in Minneapolis...

8:15 p.m. — It's been a difficult stretch for Iowa's defense in February. It's not as flashy, but a strong defensive showing might be the best sign for the Hawkeyes tonight.

7:50 p.m. — Freezing temperatures aren't stopping anyone from seeing Caitlin Clark play, apparently. There is quite a line to get into Williams Arena in Minneapolis.

7:20 p.m. — Clark scored 35 points the last time Iowa faced Minnesota, but she's been held under 25 in each of her last two games. Will it be a bounce-back night on the road?

7:05 p.m. — Clark faces quite an uphill battle to Maravich's record tonight, but she's only 32 points shy of Lynette Woodward's mark of 3,649 points. Woodward doesn't hold the NCAA record because women's basketball wasn't yet part of the NCAA, but her scoring mark is considered by many to be the pinnacle.
