Caitlin Clark scored 31 points, leaving her eight short of the all-time women's record, and Iowa blew a 16-point fourth-quarter lead to fall to Nebraska 82-79.
All of Clark's points came in the first three quarters. She also had 10 assists, eight rebounds and four steals. She became the sixth women's basketball player with 1,000 career assists.
Nebraska outscored Iowa 27-10 in the fourth quarter and closed the game on a 12-2 run.
Jaz Shelley had 23 points and hit a three-pointer with 32 seconds left to give Nebraska a 78-77 lead. Clark had a chance to tie the game on a three-pointer with three seconds left but missed. She was 0-for-6 from the field in the fourth quarter.
