Duke added to its 2019 recruiting class Friday when San Diego prep combo guard Boogie Ellis verbally committed to the Blue Devils.

Ellis made the commitment in style, too, with this slick video production:

The 6-2 Ellis, the No. 25 player in 247Sports.com's Top 247 ranking, told the website that Blue Devils coach Mike Krzyzewski sealed the deal during Ellis' official visit to Durham in late October.

"I just felt like Coach K has the best vision for me as well as getting to my other dreams as being a pro and stuff like that. I feel like he gave me the opportunity to be an impact player, that’s what he really sold me on," Ellis told 247's Evan Daniels.

Ellis is the second Duke commit for 2019, according to 247Sports, joining wing player Wendell Moore of Concord, N.C., outside Charlotte.

Freshman Tre Jones is the Blue Devils' point guard to begin this season. Duke has three other underclassman guards on its roster: Jordan Goldwire, Alex O'Connell and Mike Buckmire, all sophomores.
