The competition berth is tight this season in Big Ten women’s basketball.

Indiana clinched a share of the Big Ten regular season title, the Hoosiers' second overall and first in 40 years. The last time they were crowned was the 1982-83 season – the first season the conference held regular-season competition – where they split the honor with Ohio State.

Meanwhile, superstar junior guard Caitlin Clark of Iowa has led the Hawkeyes once again this season. Clark earned Big Ten Player of the Week honors after her 34-point performance against Indiana in the regular-season finale. This marks her sixth time being honored by the conference this season, the 18th in her career.

The Hoosiers and Hawkeyes enter the Big Ten Tournament in Minneapolis as the teams to beat, but Maryland and others also will be in the hunt.
