It’s Purdue against the field at the 2024 Big Ten Tournament, as the Boilermakers aim for their second consecutive Big Ten Tournament title.

No. 2 Purdue ran away with the regular season Big Ten title for the second straight year. Buoyed by Zach Edey, the odds-on favorite to repeat as National Player of the Year, the Boilermakers find themselves in a tier all by themselves in the conference.

But there are still plenty of teams capable of giving Purdue fits. Nebraska and Northwestern, both presumptive NCAA Tournament teams, defeated the Boilermakers this season. Illinois touts as much pure talent as any team in the conference. And Tom Izzo always has Michigan State primed for March success.

Purdue, of course, has its own March demons to escape after last year’s stunning loss to Farleigh Dickinson in the NCAA Tournament. The road to redemption begins in Minnesota.

The Sporting News has you covered with everything that you need to know about this year’s Big Ten Tournament.
