The ASUN has had a different look this season with three-time conference player of the year Darius McGhee (and the school he played for, Liberty) moving on and defending champion Kennesaw State suffering through a down year.

One of Eastern Kentucky, Stetson, Lipscomb and Austin Peay will be favored to emerge and take the Atlantic Sun's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament, but the top teams have beaten up on one another during the regular season. Look no further than EKU; the Colonels enter the tournament as the top seed but dropped their last two regular-season games, to Austin Peay and Lipscomb.

That should make for a wide-open conference tournament, with no team emerging as a clear favorite to take the title.

Adding to the intrigue, all games will be played at the higher-seeded school's arena, so home-court advantage could come into play in a way it doesn't at neutral-site tournaments.
