Albany's Peter Hooley sunk a late 3-pointer to carry the Great Danes back to the NCAA Tournament as America East champions on Saturday, but there was something about the moment that was unique from most other conference championships.
This season's America East tournament was played at SEFCU Arena, Albany's home court. You can imagine, then, the reaction from the large contingent of Albany fans when Hooley's shot went in.
