There is just one day left in the NBA regular season, and yet after 81 across nearly six months of action, hardly anything is set in stone for the upcoming NBA playoffs.

In the Western Conference, Oklahoma City, Denver, and Minnesota are tied atop the standings, knotted with 56-25 records as they vie for the No. 1 seed. Meanwhile, Phoenix and New Orleans are jockeying to stay out of the Play-In Tournament, while Sacramento, Los Angeles, and Golden State are hoping to boost their Play-In seeding.

Things are just as tenuous in the Eastern Conference. Milwaukee, Cleveland, and New York are still alive to claim the coveted No. 2 seed. Orlando and Indiana are looking to avoid the Play-In Tournament, while Philadelphia is hoping to climb its way out. Miami, too, is fighting for a top-six seed.

In fact, the only playoff matchup that has been solidified is the 4 vs. 5 battle in the Western Conference, with the Clippers and Mavericks set to square off in Round One.

With every team in action, the slate is set for a high-stakes, drama-filled day across the NBA. It's a fitting appetizer for next week, with the Play-In Tournament set to begin on Tuesday and the Playoffs to begin on Saturday.

The Sporting News has you covered with everything that you need to know and all the information on how to tune in.
