The Washington Wizards are having themselves an evening, landing French prospect Alex Sarr at No. 2 in the NBA Draft and now moving to No. 24.
The Athletic's Sham Charania reported that the "[New York] Knicks traded No. 24 to Wizards for No. 26 and No. 51, sources say. Washington selects Kyshawn George 24th overall."

The move makes total sense for the Knicks, assuming they didn't desire George. New York essentially receives a free second-round pick, as they own No. 25. It's clear the Wizards hold the Miami Hurricane wing in high company if moving up two selections was that important. He is a versatile offensive wing, known for an incredible shot from the arc while impacting the game on the defensive end with his size.
