Bronny James to the Phoenix Suns in first round of 2024 NBA Draft? image

If the Phoenix Suns weren't consuming enough of the media with rumors surrounding star Kevin Durant, the organization could shock the world during the NBA Draft.

The Suns reportedly remain interested in the ex-USC guard and son of Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James, Bronny. Reporter Marc Stein reported on the potential team-up, writing, “The Suns, by the way, continue to be mentioned as a team with interest in drafting Bronny James, who is projected as a second-round selection in Thursday's portion of the draft.”

While Stein noted that James is projected to go off the board on Thursday, the Suns do not own a second-round pick. Phoenix's lone selection in the draft comes at No. 22, barring a trade for Thursday's portion of the event. James is a rather underwhelming prospect, averaging 4.8 points and 2.8 rebounds in his freshman year at USC, but it would be an even greater reach if the Suns opt to take him on Wednesday.
