The Philadelphia 76ers are in need of a final wing to complete their rotation, but the front office has limited resources to acquire one.
A reunion with Philly native and the fan-loved Marcus Morris is reportedly not out of the equation, according to reporter Michael Kaskey-Blomain.
"The #sixers are still in the market for a bench wing," Blomain wrote. "Marcus Morris and Robert Covington are a couple of names to keep an eye on."

Morris, the former No. 14 pick, spent the first half of the 2024 season with the Sixers before eventually landing with the Cleveland Cavaliers through a series of transactions. He embodies the grit and strong veteran presence needed on every championship contender. During his limited time in Philadelphia, the journeyman averaged 6.7 points and 2.7 rebounds on 43.9% shooting in 17.2 minutes.
The Sixers acquired ex-Miami Heat forward Caleb Martin, who will likely assume the role of starting power forward, in free agency. A mixture of Morris and second-round pick Adem Bona could fill the void behind Martin.
