George and the Sixers have been a rumored pairing for weeks now, and it seems their front office has a real opportunity to pry him out of LA. Philadelphia holds some of the most cap space in the NBA, meaning the veteran forward can request the maximum deal he desires.
Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey proved themselves to be one of the most thrilling tandems in the league, but they lacked a consistent scorer alongside them. George, who averaged 22.6 points on 47.1% shooting last season, could flawlessly fill the void the 76ers must fill to compete with the likes of the Boston Celtics and New York Knicks.
