NBA analyst Kendrick Perkins is known for never shying away from his true opinion, so fans were caught a bit off guard at his praise for Philadelphia 76ers' Jared McCain.
Perkins and McCain spoke prior to the NBA Draft, where the retired champion showered the guard with compliments of leadership, saying, "You know what, I'm getting the vibe this is a leader right here [pointing to McCain]. I want to know who taught you this confidence because when you step into a room, it seems like you're leading the charge."
"I'm always going to be myself in any situation I go to." 💪

McCain went on to credit his parents while pointing out that he's never afraid to express himself, whether through nail polish or dancing on TikTok. Perkins then comically asked the former Duke Blue Devil for advice on how to grow his platform. Instead of responding to Perkins, McCain gave advice to the analyst seated next to him, Richard Jefferson, roasting him for a lack of hair.
