The Philadelphia 76ers have a hefty amount of cap space to spend this offseason, but it remains a complete mystery what their intentions are.
A report came out Thursday afternoon that the Sixers' interest in Los Angeles Clippers star Paul George is fading, leading the media to shift their attention to Zach LaVine (Chicago Bulls) and Brandon Ingram (New Orleans Pelicans). It seems the list of potential names can be slimmed down once again, as 76ers reporter Kyle Neubeck reportedly spoke with a league source about Philadelphia's interest level with LaVine.
"Spoke to a league source who said Sixers position on Zach LaVine has not changed since the trade deadline," Neubeck wrote. "Philly is not interested in pursuing."

LaVine's trade market is depleting after averaging less than 20 points for the first time since 2018. There's no doubt the Sixers could benefit from a third star to pair alongside former MVP Joel Embiid and star Tyrese Maxey, but the Bulls guard is not the solution. This development will only further raise speculation surrounding Ingram, who would add three-level scoring to Philadelphia's No. 14-ranked offense.
