Philadelphia 76ers forward Paul George is finding some good news in transitioning to the Eastern Conference. He won't see Zion Williamson so much.
The New Orleans Pelicans forward is one of the most physically dominant players in the NBA when healthy. George and Williamson have both played in the West since he entered the league in 2019. It's safe to say the Sixers star is happy he'll see less of Williamson next season, sharing high praise for him on 'Podcast P with Paul George'.
"He's a freak of nature, man, to be that nimble, at that size, that explosive," George said. "I'm not saying this in no joking matter, but in a way like somethings gotta give theres so much power in that body."
George went on to point out Williamson infamously tore through the Nike PG 2.5 during his tenure with the Duke Blue Devils. The Pels forward's healthiest season to date was in 2024, appearing in 70 games. He averaged 22.9 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.1 steals on 57% shooting.
It's rumored New Orleans' front office is looking to move on from Williamson's forward partner, Brandon Ingram, leaving him with free reign on the offensive end.
