If there is one thing that all NBA fans can agree on, it is that they can never agree. Whether it is debating who is the G.O.A.T. or which era was harder to play in, fans of the association will stop at nothing to make their opinions known.

With some time to spare before the NBA season gets underway, HoopsHype put out their 78 greatest NBA players ever list. This is the fourth straight year where they have updated their list since the release of the NBA75 list, and the Oklahoma City Thunder had their fair share of representatives.

Ranked 12th was Kevin Durant. Drafted in 2007, Durant played for the franchise from that year all the way up until 2016. During his time with the Thunder, he received Rookie of the Year, Most Valuable Player, and seven All-Star selections.

At 28th was Chis Paul. During the 2019-20 season, he averaged almost 18 points and seven assists per game, while also becoming an All-Star.

38th was James Harden. Drafted in 2009, Harden received the 6th Man of the Year award and helped lead the Thunder to their first and only Finals appearance.

Last but not least, at 48th, was Russell Westbrook. Considered “Mr. Thunder”, Westbrook received the 2016-17 MVP award, averaged a triple-double for three straight seasons, made eight All-Star games, was a two time scoring champion, three time assist champion, and much more.

As HypeHoops continues to update their list, maybe more Thunder players like Shai and Chet will crack the list in the future.
