Since the creation of the Oklahoma City Thunder back in 2008, there have been a ton of successful players and rosters. But which team would win head-to-head?

This is the exact question Thunder legend Steven Adams was asked on the podcast, The Morning Shift

Adams, who was drafted 12th overall by the Thunder back in 2013, played seven seasons with the franchise where he averaged nearly ten points per game and over seven boards.

When asked which OKC Thunder roster would win, the 2013-14 team or the 2023-24 team, Adams weighed the pros and the cons of each team.

Adams talked about how Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook were already seasoned stars by the time he was drafted, as Kevin Durant would go on to win the Most Valuable Player award that very season. Adams also went on to say that this current roster is very young and that they still have time to grow.

Still, Adams praised current Thunder players Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jalen Williams, and Luguentz Dort, saying how talented and skilled each one of them are. At the end of it all, Adams said it would come down to what type of officiating they would be facing, as both eras experienced very different rules and regulations.

Here is how the two rosters would stack up against one another:

2013-14: Russell Westbrook, Thabo Sefolosha, Kevin Durant, Serge Ibaka, and Kendrick Perkins.

2023-24: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Josh Giddey, Luguentz Dort, Jalen Williams, and Chet Holmgren.
