Can't blame Draymond Green for trying.
Man 3-1 sucks

Yeah, man. It sucks — Green knows this better than anyone, because he and the Warriors blew a 3-1 lead in the NBA FInals back in June.
Now, the Cleveland Indians know it, too. They did the same early Thursday. The Cubs' curse is over, and it ended in the best possible spot for Green to start gloating.
This is about collapses, though; no matter what Green says, or what jokes he makes, "they blew a 3-1 lead" is about the Warriors. It's true today, it'll be true tomorrow and it'll be true forever.

This is true for a few fundamental reasons; The Warriors were a juggernaut, the best regular-season team in NBA history with the first-ever unaninimous MVP in Stephen Curry. They took a heel turn, mid-Finals, and that made it all funnier to watch. The Indians? They were outmanned by the Cubs, dealing with a drought of their own and superifically likable enough.
To try to turn the Indians' situation into something similar — to force it into its own running joke, or try to replace one with the other — is to ignore what made the Warriors' meltdown joke-worthy, meme-worthy and memorable in the first place. It was the total package. It was the original. Cleveland can't rate.
So, no, it can't be reclaimed, though Green's efforts are understandable; "they blew a 3-1 lead" belongs to the world now, as it should.
