The NBA announced Friday that two games scheduled for Saturday have been postponed as snowstorm Jonas hits the East Coast, while the NHL will postpone one.

The matchup between the Celtics and 76ers in Philadelphia has been moved to Sunday at 7 p.m. ET, while the game between the Jazz and Wizards in Washington will be rescheduled at a later date.

In the NHL, the game between the Ducks and the Capitals scheduled for Friday has also been postponed. A makeup date for that contest has yet to be announced.

The hockey game was originally moved up from 7 p.m. to 5 p.m., but local officials pressured the teams to call it off as transportation difficulties mounted across the region.
