This Saturday, the NBA will host a slew of competitions, finishing off with the annual Slam Dunk contest.
The Slam Dunk contest will cap off Saturday night's events for the day. It'll commence after the Skills Challenge, 3-point Contest and the inaugural NBA vs. WNBA 3-point challenge, featuring Steph Curry and Sabrina Ionescu.
Mac McClung (Osceloa Magic, G-League), who played for the Philadelphia 76ers G-League team last season, won last year's contest.
He will have the opportunity to defend his title against three other participants this year. The last player to repeat as the league's Slam Dunk champion was Zach LaVine in 2015-16.
The winner of the event will walk away with $100,000, according to the league's new collective bargaining agreement (CBA). The runner up will earn $50,000 and third place will win $20,000.
Who will walk away with the six-figure prize this season?

McClung is the reigning NBA Dunk Contest champion. The rest are rookies in the Slam Dunk Contest.
How does it work?
Each player will perform two dunks in the First Round. The two players with the highest composite score from the judges will advance to the Final Round. In the Final Round, those two players will execute two more dunks. The player with the highest total score will be crowned the Dunk Champion.
A panel of five judges will grade each dunk on a scale of 40 to 50. The average score of the five judges’ scores will count as the individual dunk score for the contestant.
