The 76ers are set to host the defending champion Warriors who have... not been very good on the road this season.

Golden State has struggled away from Chase Center all year, owning the second-worst road record (2-13) in the NBA. Only the Magic, a team considered to be in the Victor Wembanyama sweepstakes, have a worse record away from home at 1-11.

Things could get even tougher for the Warriors, as All-Star guard Stephen Curry suffered a shoulder injury in Wednesday's loss to the Pacers and is expected to miss some time.

The 76ers, on the other hand, are starting to get healthy and have won three games in a row. All-Star guard James Harden has returned from a foot injury and picked up right where he left off, averaging 22.3 points and 12.5 assists over four games.

The Warriors will also have to find an answer for All-Star center Joel Embiid, who has been on a tear with an average of 39.2 points and 9.8 rebounds over his last five games.

Will Stephen Curry play vs. 76ers?

Curry suffered a left shoulder injury in the Warriors' loss to the Pacers on Dec. 14. After the game, head coach Steve Kerr said Curry is set to receive an MRI on Thursday.

The Athletic's Anthony Slater reported that the "sense from those around the team was that the injury would force some sort of a multi-game absence that would presumably extend through the rest of the road trip," meaning Curry could be out until the Warriors' Christmas Day game against the Grizzlies.

Curry is not likely to be available for Friday's game against the 76ers.
