On Wednesday, the Knicks ride the momentum of a four-game win streak into the Windy City as they take the floor for the first of two consecutive games against the Bulls.

While the season has been complete with ups and downs thus far, New York has gotten it done on the defensive end as of late, registering a defensive rating of 94.4 during its win streak. Over the last four games, Julius Randle's 28.0 points per game have paced the Knicks' offense, while RJ Barrett is showing signs of emerging from a season-long slump, and Jalen Brunson is creating for himself and others.

The status of Brunson, who suffered an apparent ankle injury in New York's most recent win, is up in the air for Wednesday's game in Chicago. That will certainly impact the direction of the game.

Chicago will look to bounce back from a wild overtime loss at the buzzer to Atlanta on Sunday. The Bulls, who enter Wednesday's tilt with an 11-15 record, have had more downs than ups this season. What Chicago's record doesn't show is that eight of its 15 losses were by a deficit of five points or fewer.

As with most Bulls games, DeMar DeRozan is the one to keep an eye on Wednesday night. In his last three outings, DeRozan is averaging 29.7 points, 9.7 rebounds and 5.7 assists while shooting 54.5 percent from the field.

Can New York's disciplined team defense slow DeRozan down? Or will the Bulls snap the Knicks' recent win streak? The Sporting News has you covered with everything you need to know in order to tune into the Knicks and Bulls on Wednesday.
