With their backs against the wall and superstar guard Ja Morant likely out for the remainder of the playoffs, the Grizzlies made a resounding statement with a 39-point victory over the Warriors in Game 5 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

Memphis, which led by as many as 55 points in Game 5, staved off elimination to play another day. That day will come on Friday when the Grizzlies head back to San Francisco to meet the Warriors for Game 6.

After missing the NBA Playoffs in each of the last two years, Golden State has an opportunity to advance back to the Western Conference Finals, a stage on which the franchise is 8-3 since moving to California in 1962, including five straight trips to the NBA Finals from 2015-19.

With the core of Stephen Curry, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson intact, this new version of the Warriors still has some of the same magic from the late 2010s.

Will the Warriors punch their ticket to the Western Conference Finals? Or will the Grizzlies force a decisive Game 7?
