The Warriors, after dropping Game 1 of the Western Conference finals, needed to answer in Game 2.

They accomplished that Wednesday, using a late first-half run keyed by Andre Iguodala and a third-quarter explosion by Stephen Curry to come up with a 118-91 win. Curry scored 28 points — including an unbelievable stretch of 15 points in the span of 1:58 in the third quarter — to help the Warriors tie the series at one win apiece.

"Our ball movement was a lot better tonight. There were certain situations on the offensive end where we took advantage of some ISO situations,” Curry told TNT after the game. “We got the ball moving from side to side, set great screens for each other, we found easier shots and thankfully, they went down."

As for the Thunder, they did the one thing you shouldn't do against the Warriors: make mistakes. They were outrebounded 45-36 and turned the ball over 15 times. Kevin Durant had a game-high 29 points on 11-for-18 shooting, but also had eight times turnovers.

Being a little slow and a little late will cost you against a great team; against these Warriors, it’s a borderline death wish.

Stud of the Night

Fifteen points in less than two minutes in the NBA playoffs is nothing to sneeze at. Curry made it look pretty easy Wednesday and finished with 28 points on 9-for-15 shooting.

Dud of the Night

Russell Westbrook’s numbers weren’t bad — he hit five of 14 shot attempts, scored 12 points and added 12 assists — but he didn’t have much of an impact on the game.

Tweet of the Night

Andre Iguodala keyed an 11-2 run over the final minutes of the second quarter to help the Warriors take a 57-49 lead into halftime. This was by far the most impressive run in his 14-point game.
