Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green have plenty of success as teammates.

Curry was the first to join the Warriors by way of the No. 7 pick in the 2009 NBA Draft. Two years later, Thompson was selected by Golden State with the 11th pick. Then, the Warriors drafted Green with the No. 35 pick in 2012, making him one of the greatest second-round picks in NBA history.

Over the last decade, the three of them have earned multiple All-Star and All-NBA selections, led the Warriors to the most wins in a single season and made a total of six trips to the Finals, three of which ended with them raising the Larry O'Brien trophy.

And, of course, their story is still being written.

Not only are they working on championship No. 4 together, but Curry, Thompson and Green continue to move up the all-time leaderboard with every Finals win.

How Curry, Thompson and Green compare to best trios in NBA Finals history

In defeating the Celtics in Game 2 of the 2022 NBA Finals, Curry, Thompson and Green recorded their 18th Finals victory as a trio. The significance? According to Elias Sports, the only All-NBA trio over the last 50 years with more are Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili and Tim Duncan, who won four championships together on the Spurs.

After them, Larry Bird, Kevin McHale and Robert Parish have the most together with 16 wins in the Finals.

In fact, there aren't that many players with more wins than Curry, Thompson and Green in the Finals.

According to Basketball Reference, Robert Horry (28) has won the most games on the NBA's biggest stage since 1972-73, followed by Kareem-Abdul-Jabbar (25) and Derek Fisher, Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and Magic Johnson, who each have 24 to their name. Also ahead of Curry, Thompson and Green are the likes of Kobe Bryant (23), Michael Cooper (23), LeBron James (22) and Dennis Rodman (22).

Though Cooper never earned an All-NBA selection in his career thus accounting for his exclusion from the note above, he won 23 games in the Finals, including 22 suiting up alongside Johnson and Abdul-Jabbar, the most by any trio over the last 50 years.

Which player has the most wins in the NBA Finals of all time?

Noticed a name missing on that list? That's because it doesn't account for the first 25 seasons of the NBA, which was dominated by Bill Russell's Celtics.

It should come as no surprise that Russell holds the record for most wins in the Finals with 45. His teammates round out the top five: Sam Jones (42), Tom Heinsohn (34), John Havlicek (34), K.C. Jones (30) and Frank Ramsey (30).

Add it to the list of records that (probably) won't ever be broken.
