For the sixth time in the last eight seasons, the Warriors have clinched a spot in the NBA Finals.

Golden State closed out the Western Conference Finals with a 120-110 win over Dallas on Thursday night, giving the Warriors an opportunity to win their seventh championship in franchise history. Six Golden State players hit double-figures in the scoring department, including Klay Thompson, who exploded for 32 points in 37 minutes.

Thompson's "Splash Brother," Stephen Curry, was named the Western Conference Finals MVP for his contributions across five games.

Luka Doncic and Spencer Dinwiddie combined to score 54 of the Mavericks' 110 points in the loss.

11:15 p.m. — Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry... daggers. The Warriors are heading back to the NBA Finals.

11:10 p.m. — Luka Doncic is trying to extend the Mavericks' season, but Dallas still trails by 13 points.

11:05 p.m. — Kevon Looney has been a beast on the boards. He's up to 14 rebounds (five offensive).

11 p.m. — The Warriors lose what could be a big challenge. Draymond Green picked up his fifth foul on an illegal screen. The call also wiped out a Jordan Poole 3-pointer.

End of third quarter: Warriors 94, Mavericks 84

10:50 p.m. — Well, Luka Doncic and the Mavericks finally woke up. Dallas cuts the deficit down to 10 points with a 15-2 run to end the third quarter.

10:35 p.m. — Yep, it's been a pretty good night for Klay Thompson.

10:25 p.m. — After yet another Klay Thompson 3-pointer, the Warriors' lead has ballooned to 21 points.

Halftime: Warriors 69, Mavericks 52

10 p.m. — Just a brutal half for Luka Doncic. He has six points on 2-of-12 shooting, and the Warriors have targeted him defensively.

9:55 p.m. — The Warriors are in complete control. Moses Moody drills the corner 3-pointer to give Golden State an 18-point lead.

9:45 p.m. — And now Klay Thompson is cooking. The five-time All-Star has 16 points on 6-of-10 shooting from the field. 

9:40 p.m. — Jordan Poole is heating up. He's already got seven points off the bench.

End of first quarter: Warriors 28, Mavericks 23

9:30 p.m. — Luka Doncic vs. Draymond Green at the rim. Green wins this round.

9:20 p.m. — The Mavericks respond with a 7-0 run to stay within striking distance.

9:10 p.m. — A nice start for the Warriors. They jump out to an early 12-5 lead.
