Draymond Green got an early Christmas present this year.
The Warriors star on Thursday welcomed his first child with girlfriend Jelissa Hardy. He announced the birth of his son, Draymond Jamal Green, by posting a series of photos in a collage on his Instagram account.
"Family is such an important part of my life and to welcome a kid into this world is a dream come true," Green captioned the photo. "[Jelissa Hardy] you were a soldier and I appreciate you more than you will ever know!"
Green also has a young daughter, Kyla Green, and is confident she'll make a terrific older sister.

"My baby girl Kyla was there and slept through the entire thing but she was also a soldier through the whole process and will be a great big sister!" Green captioned.
The Warriors released a statement announcing the birth and that he would not play in Thursday's matchup against the Nets. His availability for the team's next two road games is also questionable.

Surely Green will enjoy a night (or two) off to bond with his newborn boy over the holiday.
